7 Days To Die Crafting Recipes
Welcome to Reddit, Other games have done a ton of the legwork already, look to them for advice. In 7 days to die theres a bunch of materials you need to craft almost everything in the game, like duct tape, glue, iron pipes etc. It sounds as though from the last devblog thats what Helk wants to go for in Rust but theres a major differemce. Edit Article. This wikiHow teaches you how to create a farm in 7 Days to Die. Farming in 7 Days to Die largely consists of gathering plants, breaking them down into seeds, tilling soil with a hoe, and then placing the seeds in the tilled soil. Make sure that you have the right kind of dirt.
I have enjoyed this game and have the basics in my grasp. But a question has pulled me out of the game and brought me here.(1) I need a complete crafting guide divided into nice neat sections for everything that a Forge can construct whether researched by the player or not, everything a workbench can construct whether researched by the player or not, everything a campfire can construct. And so on and so forth.(1a) Each item in each section needs to have its breakdown of needed parts and materials in a nice neat list (with pictures/icons would be helpful). And it needs to be up to date.(2) Oh and I want some large fries with that and a coke. Thanks!I thought I would find it here but.
I did a google search for.pdf files but didnt find anything useful. I looked here.
But its a hap-hazard mess really. The ingame lists are hiding things from me. Anyone know where this 'Crafting Guide' is? I did mention that the ingame lists are hiding things. For instance, the mining helmet is a game changing item.
And it was hidden from me (meaning it didnt just appear in the list when I browsed it) and it still is 'hidden' unless I type it in manually to craft it. I have 160 hours ingame atm, but I didnt know about the mining helmet till like hour 150! That is horrid! It makes perfect sense to make and maintain a list of all craftable items!
And keeping it up to date with the 'changes' makes perfect sense. It just doesnt make sense to you.Thank you for being most unhelpful sir.

Mining hat is hidden when you are not in the workstation. Which is weird because someitems are actually show even if you do need the workstation.make your mind dev.
Show everything or only the item you can actually craft, not half-half:pI am not against the crafting guide even I wouldn't use it,that can be useful for some people. Originally posted by:I did mention that the ingame lists are hiding things.

The mining helmet is not 'hidden'When looking at your recipe list it shows all recipes you can craft. When you look at it from the workbench it shows everything you can craft on the workbench.
Same with campfire and science station. After all why show items that you can't craft? It just confuses people. When you SEARCH for a recipe by name it changes and will show you that recipe, what it takes to make it and where you can make it from.Since you want a specific list made to your exact specifications why don'y you go make it and maintain it?
Your posting on the forum basically demaning someone maintain a list to your specifications and spend all that time doing it becaues you don't want to look at the xml files or look in game or browse. You are posting that you NEED a complete list, that it NEEDS to be designed a way you want it, etc. You aren't asking if anyone has resources or info to help, your demanding. So when you view armor tab in inventory it shows all armor you can make from your inventory. When you view armor tab in workbench it shows all armor that can be made in workbench.Nothing is hidden persay, its just contextual since there is no reason to show stuff you can't make.If you type in the name of an item it shows everywhere you can make it and it can show up multiple times with different icons if an item can be made in multiple places. For example gunpowder can be made in your inventory or chem station so when you search for it you will see it twice and what the cost for each method is. It takes 1/2 the resources to make it in chem station versus inventory for instance. I dont think you are understanding Brian. Your perspective is that of someone who has played and survived.
My perspective is that of someone who just started. And in my perspective, I would have liked to know that I could make the mining helmet and what it took to craft it. I dont proport to have enough experience to make and maintain a list of all craftable items. I dont know all craftable items. The purpose of this post was to ask around and see if one is already in existance. I would like to print it out and put it on the pin board beside my screen so I can keep track of what I need and not throw or scrap useful things away.
I dont know why you continue to troll my post. Go away please. You are not helpful. You are a troll. Originally posted by:I dont think you are understanding Brian. Your perspective is that of someone who has played and survived. My perspective is that of someone who just started.

You are not helpful. You are a troll.I understand, you were ignorant of how the game works. It's been explained to you multiple times however you seem to chose not to listen. You are incorrect in assuming anything is hidden, you just need to learn how to use the in game lists. There is already a complete crafting list with everything you want in the game.
It's tied into each station. So if you were to browse armor from the workbench you can see what armor can be crafted. Nothing is hidden from you. This was also explained in the release notesStation SearchingRecipe searches now show recipes that can only be made at any station signified by a special icon on the right of the recipe bar. This allows players to find and learn about recipes they cannot make at their current station or backpack.Again you didn't ASK for a list.
You saidI need a complete crafting guide divided into nice neat sections for everything that a Forge can constructSo you NEED a complete guide broken down, not that you want to know if there is a guide. Each item in each section needs to have its breakdown of needed parts and materials in a nice neat list (with pictures/icons would be helpful). And it needs to be up to date. You further dictate how the crafting guide MUST be laid out and that whoever made it has to keep it up to date. As i said, for every item you get the first time just press the Recipes Button. So you will learn all available recipes in a very short time. But yes a List would be nice for some people, so take the time and remove all unneded information from the XML and post it as Printable list.I dont know a actual list someone else would have done. I was hoping that a list was already made and maintained.
I assume from what I see so far, one is not. Thank you.Edit: How do I do xml file thing? I dont know what that is.
Useful Crafting Recipes 0.4 Bandana UpdateBonus: Hud mod for food and water. Sits just above the Stamina bar. Also now available In a nice Compact Version.NOTE: Install simple food and water hud patch after Useful Crafting.I'm only back playing the game recently and I found that some recipes are just lacking.Since you can purify cans of murky water in the camp fire It seemed odd that I couldn't just pour the water from my jars into the cans. I added a Purified water recipe that allows you to use a tin can as a crafting tool in place of a cooking pot.If anyone is interested in a standalone file with just the added and changed lines for advanced Modders please let me know otherwise I will not bother.Versions:V 0.4Fixed a bug where the tin can could no longer be used as a crafting tool in the camp fire in alpha 14.6.Added a tin can slot to the camp fire tools.Added a yellow Bandana.Added crafting recipes for the coloured bandanas in the game. (I could use some feedback and suggestions on this)Mod is no longer compatible with Hud mods due to the campfire recipes requiring me to edit the windows.xml file.I have provided compatibility versions for my own hud mod for both versions of the mod, I would prefer that users get a choice in what hud mod they want to use, I never intended to make this mod incompatible.
Until other modders make compatible versions of their files I will attempt to create more versions of my hud mod to emulate other hud mods for this purpose.Sorry.V 0.3Updated to 14.6Adds Chrysanthemum farming and Cannabis farming (There may be spelling errors in game). You can now make Chrysanthemum seeds from Chrysanthemums and plant them like goldenrod. They take approximately twice as long to grow as Goldenrod. You can loot Cannabis buds and seeds from various logical locations.
You can make seeds and hemp fibers from buds. They look and grow just like corn but harvest for buds and hemp fibers.
Hemp fibers can be crafted into plant fibers at 5 plant fibers to a hemp fiber.5 Buds can be cooked into stews and pies to add 1 wellness to the recipe. Buds have 0.1 wellness when consumed alone. I may gate this behind a recipe book. Can you find a dealers stash? Want to find it? Where would you Hide your stash? This Update is still being balanced but I haven't had allot of time to test the loot tables and balancing of the crops so any and all feedback is welcome.V 0.2Adds a Beaker of water and Beaker of Murky Water. The beaker Of water recipe requires no tool since it is usually used for boiling offchemicals.
This would rarely come in useful early game but it does use two units of water and provide roughly double the benefit of Bottledwater. The stack size is 8.
Otherwise beakers now behave much like Glass Jars. Fill them from a water source and drink from them or cookthem into clean water at a camp fire.Looks like a beaker in the world and like a jar in your inventory.Enjoy.V 0.1Is just the tin can in the camp fire.Recipes:Camp Fire:. Special Vegetable Stew. Special Blueberry PieBlocks:. Chrysanthemum Crops. Cannabis CropsTweaks:. Beakers now behave Like glass jars and can be filled from a water source. Filling a beaker uses 2 units of water, empty beaker stack size has not changed.
You can now plant Chrysanthemums like normal crops. You can now plant Cannabis like normal crops. They use the Corn Crop texture but yield Cannabis Buds and Hemp Fibers.
They take a very long time to grow compared to vanilla crops but yield high returns.I will add more recipes in the future as I play and find places where recipes make sense.Suggestions are welcome.I would very much appreciate feedback on this.To install the mod just drop the folder 'Data' inside the zip into your 7DTD install folder and merge & replace.
