I'm personally buying all three as they each look awesome in their own way. I am actually looking forward to trying all of them:Eternal LineagePaths of ExileTorchlight 2 mainly for music, I love Matt Uelmen (who did the music for Diablo 1 and 2)Grim DawnBut I am looking forward to Diablo III the most, (its prolly my most anticipated title in several years)I Believe it will have the most of what I want in a game like this. Not to say that the other titles I mentioned above won't be better in some ways, (I expect them to be in some ways) But I think DIII will give me the biggest all around package that I crave for in a game like this. From looking at their predecessors. Diablo series has kept me hooked for eons. Torchlight got boring half-way and forced me to just rush to the ending so I can say I'm done with it and uninstall it. Titan Quest was a borefest for me, I don't understand what was so impressive that people praise it so much.
(if you can enlighten me, that would be cool, i guess) Since I've played the Beta for Diablo III and quite impressed, I think it's going to be my choice of isometric hack'n'slash game. Torchlight 2 if it doesn't follow it's predecessors footsteps of repetitive gameplay. And not going to bother with Grim Dawn. QUOTE='trastamad03'From looking at their predecessors. BTW i talk about titan quest the immortal throne which improved the original.

I bought the double pack back in the day and always started from the normal game. Since it makes sense no? Start from the beginning. It just became repetitive. I was using a warrior class and I only needed to use 1 skill cause everything else was useless or weak.
Maybe someday I'll try it again, but for the moment, I'll pass. Maybe Grim Dawn is better than Titan Quest. I surely hope so. I'll pick it up if it is. QUOTE='adamosmaki'QUOTE='trastamad03'From looking at their predecessors. Diablo series has kept me hooked for eons.

I'll pick it up if it is.There's tons of great melee skills in the game and most melee builds I've made used at least 2-3 primary active skills. TQ does start out slow though, so it just sounds like you lost interest quickly and didn't get a chance to really get into the meat of the game. The difficulty also ramps up, though like Diablo II it's very easy in the beginning.edit.Oh and no, you weren't supposed to start the normal game.that's not even how Diablo 2 worked. Once you applied the expansion you were supposed to just launch immortal throne pretty much exactly like how LoD worked for Diablo 2. Launching Immortal Throne lets you play all 4 acts (first 3 from normal and 4th from expansion) as well as updates the first 3 acts with the new improvements.
I don't know how I feel about Diablo 3. EA has left me a wary, jaded mess after all of their nickel and diming through in-game transactions. Between the ME3 packs, the bf3 paid unlocks, nhl booster packs, online passes and crap, I just.don't know. I look at Diablo 3 and I see a lot of the same things, but they're being more indirect with their profiting from the RMAH, and they try to disconnect it from their reasoning for always online DRM. I just want to try and stop supporting these kind of things. That said, if my friends all get D3, I'll probably end up having to get it too.

Hmm, then maybe I haven't given TQ a chance. I'll redownload and try again. D3 looks good but I absolutely hate their DRM scheme, I'll wait till it's dirt cheap just to screw them as much as possible. Grim Dawn looks surprisingly good, I've not even been watching this game.until now, it already looks miles better that Torchlight 2. TL2 reminds me of a friggin' nintendo game, 'made for teens'. I don't like the TL2 art style at all, and I'll most likely avoid it at this point unless I get REALLY bored.
Not sure why they went with this kind of art style but they should (and do) know that adults don't want to play games that look like the Saturday morning cartoons from their childhood. Even though I hate blizzards business practices (and won't be buying the game anytime soon) I'd rank them: D3 Grim Dawn TL2. XLittlekillx I would argue that the RMAH would happen regardless if EA was involved. People seem to have never experienced Diablo 2 online or forgot about it, because this already existed and it was far worse.
With spamming bots that plagued your games if you didn't add a level cap or numerous other head aches. At least with RMAH this stuff can be policed and they basically can stop the kind of problems Diablo 2 had in this regard online. I'm personally buying all three as they each look awesome in their own way.
