It gets as far as the loading screen for the game after selecting a faction then after about 20 seconds closes back to desktop. Has anyone found a solution? Sep 06, 2013  Hey, despite other weird bugs there are, the huge issue that really block me from being able to play this game is that it keeps crashing for no reason. First time it happened was during the prologue. It just kept crashing at a same point after I took the city south of capua from sea. Yes, if you have any other Total War game, you could take the preferences file from that game and copy it to the Rome 2/scripts directory. I will upload my preferences file for people that do not have the file/any other Total War game.
