Starcraft 2: Zerg Infested MarineModel by Allen Dilling & Phill Gonzales, final textures by Ted Park!Concept by Mr -Jack!:Animated by Jay HathawayThe Infested Terran Marine was one of the last models to be updated for Starcraft 2. When the Zerg race was finally premiered the Infested Marine was hastily made by modifying the Terran Marine with additional Zerg features. Afterward the Infested Marine was juggled around frequently as the design team searched for the correct gameplay role for this unit. The appreciation for the Infested Marine was always very high and the development team intended for this unit to return to Starcraft 2 somehow.Near the end of the Zerg unification pass the Marine was finally brought back for a final artwork rendition.

Modifying the Marine model done by Allen Dilling, the Infested Marine’s Zerg appendages were added on, based off a concept done by Mr. The Concept was actually done prior to Mr.Jack’s employment at Blizzard, but Samwise requested that it be used for the updated model.© 2010 Blizzard Entertainment, Inc.
