I recently upgraded to windows 10 as well as a new iPhone 6S Plus. When I plug my iphone into my computer, it is recognized and you can do just about whatever you want with iTunes. I am interested in pulling photos off the phone, which you can't do throughiTunes.

I would like to see the phone show up as a device in my computer (which happened in previous windows versions). When I go to Device Manager, under Other devices, iPhone shows up with a Yellow warning. When I try to update the driver, I get the error,'Windows was unable to install your iPhone' and could not find driver software for your device.

This occurs when I manually point the window to the file location or automatically search.I have uninstalled and re installed itunes multiple times, I have started and stopped the apple services multiple times, I've uninstalled the USB drivers as well as the Other devices driver and the pc still fails to recognize the device.All of the research I've found says that if 'none of the things you've tried above worked, you should reinstall windows'. I have had this issue for many months and managed to fix it today.I have an 'N' version of windows 10, this edition has some parts missing which are required for it to interact with and recognise the iPhone.To install the necessary updates go to:tried this previously and it didn't work, however you must make sure you chose the correct version from the dropdown menu. I have the UK edition and simply choosing the default 'english' did not work, you need to select 'english - united kingdom' (if thisapplies to you)also, typing 'media feature pack' into google brings up an outdated version which did not work for me. Following my link above was a 'good' version.I reset my pc and all was working fine:)hope this helps.
