I am glad some of you were able too get it.Hey All,I have done some research and found a viable working way to get the game and content.I am not sure how long it will last. As this method has been around for a while. For starters you will need to buy the game of off Amazon.Steam DRMYou can find other versions like the bundles but i think they recently sold out.Once you have bought and activated the code on your steam account. Then you can buy the DLC. As far as i know this is the only way you can still get the DLC.Which took me a while to work out.Fable III - Traitor's Keep Quest PackFable III - Dog Breed SetFable III - Industrial Knight OutfitFable III - Dog OutfitFable III - Understone Quest PackI hope this helps people get the game and achievements.I myself have to do this method, even though i have a retail copy.As i said its the only way to get the DLC achievements.Good luck to all, if you need any help PM meEDIT: a friend recently sent me a link of a new bundle. Not sure how long it will last.
Hello, I am a pc gamer, and have Fable 3 on my Steam, I've come to notice I cant even download the free Fable 3 Content on your Live. When I click to download any of the free content.
- Download Fable 3 Full PC Game for Free Fable 3 is available for PC after taking a break for fable 2 which was not released for PC. Its a role playing action game from Microsoft. Its based in the land of Albion where you as a player need to dethrone the king by forming a revolution by making alliances. You will then need to make the decisions to take forward or backward the land of Albion.
- Fable 3 was released for PC in 2010 by Lionhead Studios. The action takes place on Albion 50 years after the events of Fable 2. The continent is ruled by Logan, the main character’s elder brother.

Luckily i have backups. Though not of this content. It is weird you say it doesn't work. As you cant even buy the DLC without the steam version.
Before i was using a friends steam account and playing. Though i had no access to the dlc. I will look into it some more.EDIT: Quick question Haddock. Did you redeem the steam codes ingame while signed in? Or did you assume they will work straight away? Well currently i am having trouble with my GFWL Marketplace.

Or did you assume they will work straight away?I've heard people getting the DLC to work by going on Xbox.com, redeeming the product key there for the DLC then being able to download it. Might be worth a try. Ok the GFWL servers were down all January, meaning nothing was downloading or installing. It is now working again so everything is fine.Haddock you have to put the DLC codes into xbox.com then install the DLC with the GFWL Marketplace.Even though steam says it is installed it actually isnt.Unfortunately, all my codes appear to be steam codes, not GFWL.so I'm out of luck. Even the game itself is a steam code, but it works no prob w/ GFWL.If you click show game keys (can't remember where that is mind) it should show your license key (which will be different to your product keys) and this should be able to go into xbox.com.
At least from memory that's how its done. At least from memory that's how its done.Holy cow.this actually worked. Of course my save file was corrupt, so I have to play through the whole game to get to the DLC.but that's OK.I liked the game, lolFor those who do this, take your keys (Right side of screen on Steam) and redeem them on Xbox.com. You then have to install them from the GFWL marketplace, but works perfectly with the game running on Steam. Nvm, tried that cjs-cdkeys thingy, looks absolutely dodgy as fuck website, but (after taking a risk) it got me the code and wasn't that expensive.I know right. But it does work.Even though the site says this 'You are buying Fable III + 4 DLCs pack Steam ( 5 codes: game + Dog Breed/Dog Outfit/Industrial Knight/Understone Quest)', it also comes with. So that site gives you 5 paid DLC, so that is a really sweet deal.Information for anyone wanting to buy it from that site:You are required to make an account. They accept many forms of payments; including PayPal and Bitcoin. You are required to have a phone for a verification code (Text or Call), and there is no charge for that code (free). The Steam Codes are sent as a image file, so you will need to manually type the codes into steam.
Before you read the below mentioned. It seems something happened as of September 16, 2014, that now a lot of gamers are unable to get GFWM to work because it is unable to access the Games for Windows Live Sign-in ID Assistant. Maybe it was from an update. So my method below that worked before might not work now. But you are free to try it anyway.

You can download them from there and they will be usable in game.:)For me, I was able to download my Free Weapons, Yule Hat and Tattoo set in the same way I mentioned above. They appeared in game just fine. Originally posted by:While I can get in to the GFWL client and everything just fine - there is absolutely nothing tied to my account.
No game, no DLC, nothing.but I can play fine through steam. Just didn't want to miss out on any freebies.
=Obviously the game key is registered to my account else I wouldn't be able to play so.I dunno.Replace the GFWL Client with the new GFWM Client. Your game, DLC and freebies that were originally activated to your GFWL account will appear in it in the Game Add-ons section of the GFWM Client after you log in. I thought it might have been tied to a different GFWL account I had in the past, a long time ago, for some reason, but nothing. Both accounts are just empty, but the game and my saves are obviously tied, through steam, to the GFWL account I use now.Its odd.:p. Originally posted by:I'm downloading the DLC at the moment but I have a question. Is online play still functional? I tried booting the game up but cannot login.
It may be because I assume the game is using GFWL. I'll try again once I finish downloading the DLC. You can still login, try updating your GFWL with GFWM from the link in the post.I believe online play is still functional. I activated free join and someone joined my game and helped me during a boss battle but it only happened once.:(The major problem with online play though is that the other person will need to have the same exact DLCs you have in order to join your game which is a bummer.:(.
